My Random Blogging Therapy
So it's not my compressor!!! I went to Autozone and there is some sort of short and/or something wrong with my electrical system. It sounds nice and cheap AND minor!!! Like replace a spark plug kind of cheap. Unfortunately I thought my car would still be alright to pick up the sister missionaries. I took them to Elements since they are free there then we went to a ward missionary's house for the sisters to practice giving a discussion. They did the restoration. Sis. Haden did a beautiful job of bringing the spirit with her as she taught with power and confidence. I love Joseph Smith. I almost started crying. That is my favorite lesson. My companion and I used to fight over who could share the first vision story because it is so powerful.
I love it because the spirit just slams people when they hear the first vision. I know heavenly father does that so that people will recognize he was a prophet of God. Joseph Smith is so awesome. My car wouldn't start after the discussion with our ward missionary Esther and her roommate. Unbelievable!!! So the sisters and I started walking and I walked home.
My car is probably fine now but I'm going to wait for the sun to be down awhile before I walk back there to pick it up. I can't believe that happened. I'm going to take it to the dealer on Monday. I hope it doesn't take them too long to figure it out.
Esther was talking about Joseph Smith and of how he was a humble farm boy without scholarly training. It made me think of Curtis. Ezra Taft Benson was a farm boy too. Thinking about Curtis humbled me because the things I wish he had like degrees or NOT growing up on a farm are actually what probably gave Joseph Smith many of the amazing characteristics he possessed. I really don't care about where he grew up. I just don't want to live her or raise a family here.
