Urban Poly Princess

I usually like to sleep in on Fridays BUUUT I had a hair appointment so I rolled out of bed and got ready QUICKLY before going to The Perfect 10 in North Logan. I also dropped off a bag filled with clothes for DI since I packed all my Winter clothes and most of my clothes to take with me to Salt Lake. I couldn't waste that trip. I had 2 hours to kill because my appointment was actually at noon NOT at 10-so I looked in Ross and DI to find something for Ashley's baby shower tomorrow.

While I found a lot of cute things at Ross, several for just $3, I found the nicest nursery rhyme book with gold leaf and over 100 Children's poems from DI. It was in new condition and would've cost me at least $16 at Ross or TJ Maxx. Instead I paid $3. I can't believe that find. Sometimes going at the wrong time can pay off.

I was also able to read my scriptures and a conference talk before the noon appointment. Now I need to jump in the shower.

Tonight I'm going to Wellsville to a Game Night. I'm assuming this is board games and card games and not volleyball/basketball but I'll find out either way and I'm not dressing for outdoor games. Curtis mentioned people in the ward. I wonder who that includes. It starts at 7:30 and I can't stay there too long because I need to be at prayer meeting at the temple at 5:45 tomorrow. I haven't been there in waaay too long with the temple cleaning, Pioneer Day, my vacation and then my family reunion.

It will be nice to see Curtis at this type of activity. It seems like the only time I ever see him he is serving something for Linger Longer. I never see him at church except for right after sacrament when or if I realize he's sitting in the back.
