My Random Blogging Therapy
Wow. My friend's x-husband just got married and I had no idea they split. They have 5 children together and the youngest is maybe 2. I don't get it at ALL. She was one of my best friends in Tonga and then later when she attended BYU-Hawaii. She was raised in Hawaii and then moved with her family to Tonga. Her mother passed away in Tonga. She is full Tongan but she was more comfortable speaking English since she grew up in Hawaii. We attended the same elementary school in Tonga OR the only one that used English then we were classmates at Liahona High School although technically we were still in JR High School. I don't know what happened.
Wedding pictures of her x-husband and his new wife who is also a classmate that I didn't know very well, were posted by our friend Tupou who is her x-husband's cousin. Wow. Drama. She has her master's degree in Computer Science so I know she can support her family if need be BUT her husband also has a graduate degree in something and was raised by a wealthy family from Tonga. He traveled extensively growing up and attended college and graduate school in Southern California. I love my friend Faite and I hope she is alright. She changed her last name back to her maiden one on her page.
I don't get how a family can break up like that. Their oldest son is 19 and hasn't decided to put in his mission papers. This is probably why. I can't even imagine. We have a regional activity/Thanksgiving Dinner/Auction tonight at my chapel. It'll finish nice and early and in plenty of time for me to sleep early for the temple tomorrow. I almost forgot about it. I like free dinner. It's my favorite!!!
