My Random Blogging Therapy
I went coupon shopping at Walgreens where I bought 2 6-pack toilet paper packs for 2.50 or 1.25 each. People on my couponing site are buying out entire stores. I just don't have money to do that. I also bought some 2 Dawn dish washing liquids, 1 for .74 and the other I got at the last minute and didn't use my coupon on it although I could've. I paid .99 for it. I also got 2 Lindt chocolate bars for free. I need to print a couple more coupons. That is the good stuff. My cupboard is filled with crappy mass produced American candy and also my high-quality delicious Lindt bars. I think those are actually American too. The printable coupons reset so I'm printing a couple more at work next week. I tried to get 6 mascara tubes for free but the cashier wouldn't let me saying the coupon value is too high for the price. I asked him why he couldn't just adjust it and he gave me some lame reason. I'm going back there on Wednesday to ask him again AND to get a killer makeup deal. I'm going to open this toilet paper and see if I can deal with the quality. If I can I will take whatever is left on the shelf when I get paid Tuesday.
I am sad when I miss out on couponing deals but there is always another one around the corner. I have to resolve this makeup thing because I feel cheated. I looked up Walgreen's coupon policy and there is the option to use them with BOGOs. I don't think very many people shop at Walgreens here although it has MANY incredible deals. Smiths does too. Harmon's has an Oreo deal now which ticks me off because there is no Harmon's here. I REALLY hope someone has one soon so I can get a bunch of Oreos for under a dollar each OR if a nice deal comes up I want to be in SLC with the many stores ALTHOUGH it is nice to take advantage of the many deals without too much competition here.
I rushed to Stake Conference and got there right on time to hear the talks. The talks were awesome. The sisters spoke along with a ward mission leader and a bishop who was converted at 17 but later went on to serve a mission and is now obviously extremely active. I loooved his talk. My stomach felt queasy during his talk however and as soon as he finished I went to the bathroom. I felt better but I also felt like I'd probably have to run to the bathroom again so I left during president Pffiefer's talk. That's the first time that's ever happened to me. I just wanted to leave because running to a public bathroom is NOOOT the business. I'm glad I went home because sure enough as soon as I got home I ran to the bathroom.
I had a tuna helper I made with 2 cans of chicken instead. That's the only thing I can think of that I ate right before the meeting. I'm scared to go tomorrow. I'm just glad I didn't feel like this in the temple this morning.
