Thursday

CVLA meeting today at the Hyrum library. I forgot to ask Judy if she wanted to come in early today. I felt sooo much better after I slept. ANOTHER deal that could've saved me even MORE money. The cashier rang me up at customer service BUT THERE'S NO CATALINA MACHINE THERE!!! My wonderful site is showing how people can get $3 Cats OR MONEY TO SPEND AT KMART!!! I bought 12 which means I could've saved an additional $12 there!!! It was still an amazing deal BUUUT it could've been even better. INSTEAD of paying 2.50 per 12-pack of Cottonelle it would've been 1.50 a 12-pack. GRRR!!!

$12 there and $21 on the tampons. I could've saved an additional $33!!! LESSON LEARNED, I AM NEVER SPENDING ON A TUESDAY. I COULD'VE WAITED JUST ONE MORE DAY AND SAVED SIGNIFICANTLY MORE MONEY!!!

To make it worse last night I felt so physically and mentally drained that I wasted $5 at Little Ceasar's on a pepperoni pizza when I could've gone to Smith's and bought 3 with coupons for $7.50. I just didn't feel up to going to Smith's. I did buy 12 carmex lip balms for a little over $9 at Walgreens so that made me feel a little better. The All detergent is on sale at Smith's. With my coupons I'll be able to get 12 bottles at 1.49 each or12 bottles for 26.64. I already have enough laundry detergent for a year. After this I'll have enough for 2.

I've only done this for a couple months, since general conference which is the first and last time I bought newspapers for coupons. I already have enough laundry detergent, carmex, tampons, razors, toothpaste, floss and pads to last me a year. I also have a bunch of candy, 8 boxes of cereal and my cupboards are still full from the case lot sales I hit before I began this sooo I have canned chicken, tuna, spam, spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese and lots of boxes of devil's food cake mix. I also have 4 Dawn dishwashing liquid bottles under my sink. I haaate spending money eating out now. I take food to work for my lunch instead of running through a drive through.

I am at the point where I really only need to buy fresh fruits, vegetables and bread. My goal was to only bake my own bread but I just haven't had the energy to do that. I fit 9 of my Cottonelle 12-packs under the sink in my master bathroom. I still had room for the rest of my 12-pack and the entire 6-pack I bought through previous coupon deals. I put some of my pads in one of my drawers along with toothpaste and some of my razors.  The other 3-packs of Cottonelle will fit under my other sink although it'll make me clean out and reorganize my drawers. That deal is too good to let just go by. I think I'll get 3 more 12-packs of Cottonelle and take it to my mother along with 4 of the 6-pack paper towels. She uses more paper towels than anyone I know. I'll still have 8 packs AND I also have the Sparkle 8-packs I bought before this that I opened and put in my cupboards in the kitchen. I'm only on my first one. I'm also going to take her a bunch of my razors and some laundry detergent.

I need to make it a habit to take her stuff EVERY time I visit Salt Lake City. I'll see her at Thanksgiving and then again at Christmas.
