Angela's class

Angela's institute class is very good. I love how she loves the scriptures. Last night during class I kept thinking I think she went to Sacramento on her mission. I finally asked her. She was surprised I remembered that but then I told her it's because I served there too. There were maybe 10 students who specifically stayed after class just to chat with her. I saw my friend Heather there so I chatted with her for awhile too before I stopped at Smith's, picked up some ice cream then drove home.

I weighed myself for our weightloss challenge and I gained 13 lbs since I left Logan. So much for working out. I have just missed the food here in general. Sooo I've been eating way too much. I have an interview for a visual associate at Sears. I just love the visual part of this which is why I applied for it at all. I would love to be a stylist. It isn't anything I studied, not formally anyway. I love it. Although I looove home decor shows I just think it is something inherent I have a propensity for. Weird but it is how I feel.

Mosiah 5
13 For how knoweth a man the master whom he has not served, and who is a stranger unto him, and is far from the thoughts and intents of his heart?

Come and See - David A. Bednar
His desire to share was the natural consequence of a most helpful and beneficial personal experience.
The enduring lesson we learn from these two episodes is the importance of experiencing in our personal lives the blessings of the Atonement of Jesus Christ as a prerequisite to heartfelt and authentic service that stretches far beyond merely “going through the motions.”
Absolute truth exists in a world that increasingly disdains and dismisses absolutes. In a future day, “every knee [shall] bow” and “every tongue [shall] confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10–11). Jesus the Christ absolutely is the Only Begotten Son of the Eternal Father. As members of His Church, we witness He lives and His Church has been restored in its fulness in these latter days.
Sometimes we may be awkward or abrupt or even relentless in our attempts. Our simple desire is to share with you the truths that are of greatest worth to us.
As one of the Lord’s Apostles, and with all of the energy of my soul, I bear witness of His divinity and reality. And I invite you to “come and see” (John 1:39), in the sacred name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.
