My Random Blogging Therapy
I went to pay a bill and mail $16 to Lila Waite for my cookbook. Following this I went to Smith's where I bought a lot of groceries for just $30, paid gas for another $20 and bought a picture frame for my MBA diploma I'm going to stick in the library. Both of my degrees are framed nicely. My director will like that. I bought stuff to make hotdogs, spaghetti, chicken enchiladas and spam musubi so 4 dinner menus plus I have left over chop chae and stuff to make my Thai peanut sauce. I have fresh broccoli, carrots, celery and oranges.
I like that I hardly spent any money.
Ether 1
43 And there will I bless thee and thy seed, and raise up unto me of thy seed, and of the seed of thy brother, and they who shall go with thee, a great nation. And athere shall be none bgreater than the nation which I will raise up unto me of thy seed, upon all the face of the earth. And thus I will do unto thee because this long time ye have cried unto me.
A choice blessing was given as a result of continuous prayer. How important prayer is.
Followers of Christ - Dallin H. Oaks
Jesus’s teachings were not meant to be theoretical. Always they were to be acted upon.
Like other Christians, we pray in all our worship services. We also pray for guidance, and we teach that we should have frequent personal prayers and daily kneeling prayers as a family. Like Jesus, we pray to our Father in Heaven, and we do so in the sacred name of Jesus Christ.
Prayer seems to be the theme of the day. I guess I'll go and heat up some Chop Chae for lunch. Perhaps I'll make my chicken enchiladas for dinner. Jenn gave me her recipe. I can cream of celery soup, 1 can cream of chicken, lots of sauted onions, chiles and then cheddar cheese. She just made cheese enchiladas and they were scrumptious. She doesn't water down her soups. I hope these taste as good.
I bought stuff to make my guava cake AGAIN. Noelani's cake was scrumptious. I need to find out how she made the cake so moist and guavaie I suspect she used the concentrate instead of mixing the juice first like I did. I also bought some red food coloring. She said she used a cheap cake brand so that's what I bought too. I'm going to try it with the concentrate first. I should've bought the normal mix too in case this doesn't turn out. I also bought guava nectar which is what the recipe actually calls for. She did finally send it to me BUT it says nectar yeah where do you get this? I was able to find it at Smith's near the Mexican products but I also bought 2 cans of concentrate. I want to make sure I can cook ALL my favorite Poly foods.
