I stayed up late last night figuring out my finances. Moving is such a headache BUT financially I'll be alright ALTHOUGH I'll be super-frugal for the next few months. My bank account is going to be negative until September 5 JUST to pay my deposit.

Selling my washer/dryer will help although I'm not going to really attempt to do that until next week. If I have to I'll sell it from my new apartment but ideally I'd like to sell it and NOT have to move it there. I'm also going to get my deposit back from Miss leasing lady. I'll call her today to finalize the move for the 5th instead of the 4th of July AND ask about my deposit then.

3 Nephi 23
1 And now, behold, I say unto you, that ye ought to search these things. Yea, a commandment I give unto you that ye search these things diligently; for great are the words of Isaiah.

2 For surely he spake as touching all things concerning my people which are of the house of Israel; therefore it must needs be that he must speak also to the Gentiles.
3 And all things that he spake have been and shall be, even according to the words which he spake.

I keep looking for a part time job BUT I really don't want to do anything if it's not in my profession.

The things I want to do part time include being a Zumba instructor and teaching online for the University of Phoenix. Both are things I can and want to do for a long time. I want to be able to pay for my living expenses with my part time gigs and then the money I make from my full time job will just be gravy. I like how Alisa teaches her classes at 6am because it leaves time for everything else throughout the day.

My companions and I averaged more than 40 hours a month in our missionary service without once having to knock on doors to find someone to teach. The members filled our plates so full that we often taught two families in an evening. I saw for myself the power and the blessing in the repeated call of prophets for every member to be a missionary.


This is the way it's supposed to work. Missionaries are NOT supposed to spend time finding although MUCH of my time as a missionary was spent doing that. Instead missionaries should TEACH exactly like this describes.
