My Random Blogging Therapy
When I went home for lunch I saw I had received a cookbook from aunty Lila Waite!!! Sooo Cool!!! Linda Love brought me spicy tamales today. I ate a couple for lunch. They were delicious. I used to play with Maria when I was under 5 and I remember her mother's yummy bread. She never bought bread from the store. Her dad actually got his Master's degree from USU. President Waite is a religion professor at BYU-Hawaii. He was the bishop when I was blessed. His name is on my blessing certificate.
Sis. Waite is such an amazing baker and cook too although I remember her baked goods most. One of her sons would sell homemade cinnamon rolls, eclairs and cookies.
I've been looking for a good bread recipe.
Talk
We can learn from that voice from heaven. It was not loud, scolding, or demeaning; it was a still voice of perfect mildness, giving firm direction while giving hope.
How we speak to our children and the words we use can encourage and uplift them and strengthen their faith to stay on the path back to Heavenly Father. They come to this earth ready to listen.
WOW!!! I went to bed early for me AND I didn't eat any sugary substances. It's almost 4 and I'm NOT sleepy. What a great feeling. I'm shooting for 10 tonight. A small diet and sleeping change has a huuuge impact!!!
I have to recommit myself to my goals. I feel compelled to at least read a chapter in my Book of Mormon and listen to a conference talk once a day. This is a small way to improve myself daily. I need to be improving in ALL areas EVERY day or why am I even here?
