My Random Blogging Therapy
Everyone likes my "Hawaiian wear" YES you can do Hawaiian wear and NOT be tacky. Tacky is thanks to all the tourists that descend on my state. The biggest industry is tourism so it is expected.
Today is also the change in ownership accreditation. I met them wandering around here with Sharla this morning. I'm excited for my family to come to Logan Friday. My mother left a message on my phone last night saying George sounded sick. I called him and he sounds perfectly fine. He said mom was already talking about how he was sick before he said a word.

20 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.
I memorized almost this entire chapter thanks to my mission. There were a bunch of scriptures we had to memorize as soon as possible. When this was completed our trainer signed our celestial certification. Yes, we received an actual certificate when we finished this.
I like the perfect brightness of hope. We all should have faith and do whatever we can to bring about what we know our father in heaven would have happen. As long as we do our part, we have no need to have anything less than a perfect brightness of hope because our father in heaven will support us in all things and bring to pass what needs to happen.
Beautiful Mornings - Bruce D. Porter
And later he added: “The moral values upon which civilization itself must depend spiral downward at an ever-increasing pace. Nevertheless, I do not fear the future”
Brothers and sisters, we need not fear the future, nor falter in hope and good cheer, because God is with us. Among the first recorded words of counsel that Jesus gave to His newly called disciples in Galilee was the two-word admonition, “Fear not” (Luke 5:10). He repeated that counsel many times during His ministry. To His Saints in our day, the Savior has said, “Be of good cheer, and do not fear, for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you” (D&C 68:6).
Every one of us, and our families, can be armed with the power of God as a defense if we will but remain true to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and let the Spirit be our guide. Trials may come, and we may not understand everything that happens to us or around us. But if we humbly, quietly trust in the Lord, He will give us strength and guidance in every challenge we face. When our only desire is to please Him, we will be blessed with a deep inner peace.
The theme for the day seems to be hope and remaining faithful amid and despite our trials. I want to be blessed with that deep inner peace all the time.
