Urban Poly Princess

Last night I fell asleep in front of my television watching an episode of NCIS LA. I needed my sleep so I just got up and took out my contacts, washed my face and tried to get as much sleep as possible. This week has been so rushed. I wanted to clean yesterday but I was too tired. I'm going to try to get my lunch relief guy to stay there a couple hours so I can wash my dishes/clean my kitchen/living-room/downstairs bathroom. After work I just want to have to clean my upstairs bathroom bedrooms AND do some laundry. This'll be perfect then tomorrow morning I'll just need to continue with some laundry before having lunch with my visiting teachers at Hermes Inn then driving to Salt Lake City to see my mother.

The ULA conference keynote address was AWESOME!!! She discussed how the internet is in its infancy and how we can't conceive of what all the implications will be yet. She compared this to when electricity was first discovered. Sooo true. My television viewing habits have already changed. I watch what I want to watch when I want to watch it .  The internet + TV is how it always should've been!!!

Beautiful Isaiah similies. Sooo cool!!!

33 Therefore, thus saith the Lord, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.

34 But when he seeth his children, the work of my hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.
35 They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.

Who is the house of Jacob? Google time. The House of Israel is used interchangably in BOTH Bible and Book of Mormon accounts.
I like the thoughts these verses prompt. Although at first a lack of understanding will exist, eventually this will be resolved and sanctification will result.

The Father and the Son - Christoffel Golden Jr.
We respectfully submit that at the heart of the gospel of Jesus Christ and its power to save is a correct understanding of the Father and the Son.
This experience by the boy Joseph, followed by many other visions and revelations, reveals that God actually exists; the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, are two separate and distinct beings; man is created in the image of God; our Heavenly Father is literally the Father of Jesus Christ; God continues to reveal Himself to man; God is ever near and interested in us; and He answers our prayers.

Every time our Lord refers to His Heavenly Father, He does so with the utmost reverence and submissiveness.

In saying this, I hope there will be no misunderstanding. Jesus Christ is the great Jehovah, the God of Israel, the promised Messiah, and because of His infinite Atonement, He is our Savior and the Redeemer of the world. Of Him the Apostle Paul declared, “Then cometh the end, when [Christ] shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when [Christ] shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.”
President Ezra Taft Benson with prophetic insight said, “Nothing is going to startle us more when we pass through the veil to the other side than to realize how well we know our Father [in Heaven] and how familiar his face is to us.”
