The first day of ULA was AWESOME!!! I went to a workshop about how to influence people. It was ALL day BUT it was really good. Usually these type of workshops get me bored eventually. This never was that way. I had lunch with one of my old classmates from Emporia, Barbara Hopkins. I told her she was welcome to join me but that I was just going to McDonalds. She is over ALL the media specialists in the Canyonlands school district which includes Cottonwood and the tiny smaller communities that surround it. She was an academic librarian when I met her almost 10 years ago.
Time sure flies.
Wanda, Liesl, Allison, and Maggie from the Salt Lake County were there.

Back to Isaiah using MANY unfamiliar references. I have the basics BUT it will take outside study
4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
Neil L. Anderson - It's a Miracle
President Thomas S. Monson has said: “We take most seriously the Savior’s mandate … , ‘Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.’”11“This … cause … will continue to go forth, changing and blessing lives. … No force in the entire world can stop the work of God.”12
We are witnessing the miracles of the Lord as His gospel is spreading across the world.
Our desire to share the gospel takes all of us to our knees, and it should, because we need the Lord's help.
Missionary work permeated this conference.
I read my scriptures AND conference talk right before going to Zumba with my sister-in-law. I stopped when I felt out-of-breath. I haven't been doing Zumba so I am out-of-shape.
Thursday morning I began with my scriptures then a conference talk followed by Zumba toning I did everything this time. I saw so many people I know at ULA. I am grateful I began as a substitute librarian AND that although I started with cohort 3 I finished with cohort 4. Because of these things I know A LOT of people in ULA. Gretchen Freeman sat by me at lunchtime. She is in County administration. I had a nice conversation with this issue.
Instead of presenting what we felt this would be
I am going to drop to sleep. I want to review what I did and teaching moments I've been given BUT I'll have to do that tomorrow before I drop dead.
