Last night the temple called me. It feels like it took forever BUUUT this was nothing like trying to work for the Logan temple. That was ridiculous. As much as I treasure the time I spent there I know without a doubt the secretary had a problem with me for some reason. She is probably racist because when I first talked to her about it she tried to encourage me to work in the cafeteria, laundry or cleaning. 

Everyone who doesn't know me assumes my talents are restricted to menial tasks. It is extremely condescending and tiring for me to have to deal with people who make assumptions. I know I'm going to have to prove myself wherever I go but why should I be any different from all the other ethnic minorities who constantly have to do more than others just to indicate competence.
