My Random Blogging Therapy
I bore my testimony today. I love the gospel. I told the congregation how excited I was to go on splits when I just finished my mission but that when I did all I found myself doing was judging what the sisters did. I admitted that I always think I know what is best even though intellectually I know that's impossible, I still fall into that. I told them I was grateful that my father in heaven gave me another opportunity to do that and that I had a fantastic time with the sisters the night before.
Today I met one of the guys they are teaching. His name is Justin Rounds and he is a construction worker. He is blond and a total cutie. I told him I'll take him to FHE. I need to get some guys to friendship him. This male/female friendshipping in my opinion isn't a very good idea although I was very friendly to him I hope that wasn't too much. Me offering to take him to fhe was probably dangerous. How the hell do I get myself into these situations?
I saw Mark but I don't want to give him the wrong idea so I just don't talk to him unless he comes over to me. I'm not trying to be mean. He shaved his head and he didn't come to choir practice. He didn't ask me out and I had dinner with him to CHAPERONE the sisters AND I like him as a person. That doesn't mean I'm interested in him. I really hope everything's alright.
And this is what the hell kept me away from activities.
11 And it came to pass that the people of Limhi began to drive the Lamanites before them; yet they were not half so numerous as the Lamanites. But they afought for their lives, and for theirbwives, and for their children; therefore they exerted themselves and like dragons did they fight.
What type of dragons are the reference point here?
Redepmption - D. Todd Christofferson
nasmuch as we follow Christ, we seek to participate in and further His redemptive work. The greatest service we can provide to others in this life, beginning with those of our own family, is to bring them to Christ through faith and repentance so they may experience His Redemption—peace and joy now and immortality and eternal life in the world to come. The work of our missionaries is a magnificent expression of the Lord’s redeeming love. As His authorized messengers, they offer the incomparable blessings of faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, and the gift of the Holy Ghost, opening the way to spiritual rebirth and redemption.
