Monday

Tonight is FHE and tomorrow I'm attending a business seminar called success 2013.Speakers include Steve Forbes, Rudy Giuliani, Larry King and a bunch more I haven't heard of. It's being held at the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy. I am leaving at 5am which SUCKS BUT I wanted to attend this and so I am. Several Business students are coming along with Katie Doseck our business adjunct and Mike Howle our student services person. The seminar is from 8am to 5pm so ALL DAY!!!

I have to go to SLC Friday too so 2 days to SLC this week. I need to buy/make some food tonight since lunch isn't included although we may do dinner together after. I am going to make a pit stop at some Asian store too so I can buy some furikake, shitake mushrooms and that Saimin I like so it doesn't cost me as much as it usually can. I have nori although I should probably buy a bunch of that too.

I also need to take the sisters to lunch today, pay my loan shark $300 and then I'll pay him off next payday.

Mosiah 21

12 Yea, they went again even the third time, and suffered in thelike manner; and those that were not slain returned again to thecity of Nephi.
13 And they did humble themselves even to the dust, subjectingthemselves to the ayoke of bondage, bsubmitting themselves to besmitten, and to be driven to and fro, and burdened, according tothe desires of their enemies.
14 And they did ahumble themselves even in the depths ofhumility; and they did cry mightily to God; yea, even all the daylong did they cry unto their God that he would bdeliver them out oftheir afflictions.
15 And now the Lord was aslow to hear their cry because of theiriniquities; nevertheless the Lord did hear their bcriesand began tosoften the hearts of the Lamanites that they began to ease theirburdens; yet the Lord did not see fit to deliver them out of bondage.
These people were compelled to be humble. I'd rather NOT be compelled BUT instead be humble along with a good life characterized by success. Humility is better anyway when it is a choice.
We Are Daughters of Our Heavenly Father
“What-e’er thou art, act well thy part.” That simple statement renewed my vision that Heavenly Father knew me and had a plan for my life, and the spirit I felt helped me understand that my part mattered.
I'm grateful for so much. Our bishop ALWAYS tries to make us feel better about ourselves. I already feel amazing and blessed. I certainly don't feel perfect BUT I am actively working on perfection and am grateful for opportunities I continue to receive ALL the time.
