My Random Blogging Therapy
I wore my pink Stevens-Henager College shirt I got last year from our awareness week to our special Zumba awareness day. Great workout. Everyone wants to take pictures there but that is the last thing I want to do when I don't have make up on and I haven't done anything to my hair. Add wearing crappy workout clothes combined with sweat. I feel like I've applied to so many positions and I will keep doing that, it just seems to take forever. I did hear back from someone immediately after submitting my application online.
Ether 2
25 And behold, I prepare you against these things; for ye cannot cross this great deep save I prepare you against the waves of the sea, and the winds which have gone forth, and the floods which shall come. Therefore what will ye that I should prepare for you that ye may have light when ye are swallowed up in the depths of the sea?
What I always think of when I read this story is how we need to come up with solutions and then take these to the Lord. He will never do for us what we can do for ourselves. It is with his help that we come up with these solutions BUT we need to do as much as we can. AND there's always so much more we can do, so much more we are capable of achieving.
My bishop from Logan emailed me a copy of what he emailed Bishop White here. It sounds like my records can be transferred now. That is good because my recommend just expired at the beginning of the month. I'm going to see if I can get my interviews done this week asap. I'm not sure what the stake schedule is here. I know where the stake center is already thanks to attending the Ogden temple dedication there. It is also off the road I used to take all the time to the U when I lived in the Kinikini's house w/Shannon, Leah, Mana and Sisi.
It's overcast today.
Approaching the Throne of God with Confidence - Jorg Klebingat
Take responsibility for your own physical well-being. Your soul consists of your body and spirit (see D&C 88:15). Feeding the spirit while neglecting the body, which is a temple, usually leads to spiritual dissonance and lowered self-esteem. If you are out of shape, if you are uncomfortable in your own body and can do something about it, then do it! Elder Russell M. Nelson has taught that we should “regard our body as a temple of our very own” and that we should “control our diet and exercise for physical fitness” (“We Are Children of God,”Ensign, Nov. 1998, 87; Liahona, Jan. 1999, 103)
No matter what your current status, the very moment you voluntarily choose honest, joyful, daily repentance by striving to simply do and be your very best, the Savior’s Atonement envelops and follows you, as it were, wherever you go. Living in this manner, you can truly “always retain a remission of your sins” (Mosiah 4:12) every hour of every day, every second of every minute, and thus be fully clean and acceptable before God all the time.
