I woke up right before President Monson spoke. I didn't gain much from what he or President Packer said probably because I didn't start taking notes right at the beginning. I like to take notes because whatever sticks out to me is my personal revelation from my father-in-heaven, it is what he wants me to notice initially. It is why hearing it live for the first time is so crucial to me.

Now everything is available so soon to us. I have to work harder on receiving this amazing gift we are all privy to as members of the Kingdom of God on earth. I know I am just blocking incredible blessings as I don't welcome it the way I can and should.

Wishes she understood the sacrament. It should be a truly spiritual experience and a renewal of the soul each week. Willing to take upon the name of Christ.
Want what he wants rather than what the world wants.
Witness to God to remember his Son always - this is what we do as we take the sacrament. It is an opportunity for introspection.
Spirit heals and renews our soul
I go to partake of the sacrament, holy communion
Feel of their love and partake of their spirit.

Trait of humanity to assume we are right even when we aren't. Promise we can know truth for ourself. He will speak in dreams, thoughts and experiences. God cares about you. The answers will come in his own way. We need to listen to him, learn of his Son Jesus Christ and the blessings that will be ours through obedience to his commandments.

We must search the words of God. Not with the intent to doubt or criticize but with the desire to discover truth. Consider, ponder fearlessly with gratitude for our prophets, seers and help to find our way back

Ask in the name of Christ for the truth to be manifested. Ask with a sincere heart.

If any man will do his will - when trying to verify truth of gospel principles you must first live these with faith and real intent and this truth will be manifested. We will be granted light incomprehensible to mortal sight. This is the most important thing you can learn in this life.

If we remove ourself from the light of the gospel this will dim. It is a place for people with all types of testimonies.

The church is not just for perfect people, a place of welcoming and nurturing not and criticizing. We nourish and encourage ALL light. A quest of a lifetime.

If you do your part it will come and it will be glorious. Pure intelligence by the power of the Holy Ghost. Glorious spiritual vistas unimagined can be ours. Do not delay the time to build our personal testimony of light and truth.

Last Night
Renee's party was well-attended by ward members. I asked several people if they had ever attended one  of the Mid Singles dances and they hadn't. The venue was great and the DJ wasn't bad either HOWEVER the selection there was sorely lacking. There was NO ONE I wanted to get to know better at all. If was nice to spend time with Julie however. I had fun with her BUUUT I now know I WILL NOT be attending any of those dances.

I didn't get to fix my hair the way I like to fix it BUUUT I was still waaay overdressed at either spot. I just wanted to meet at least 1 person who actually bothered with the way they looked - male OR female!!!  NOT A CHANCE!!!
