The Day After

I really love my Zumba class. I really need to make the effort. It is so hard for me to attend things. It feels like I'm in Logan all over again. I know how important it is for me to get to know new people but I have to force myself to do that. There's this Salt Lake Group called Menace, a Mid Singles group for people in the downtown area meaning me!!! There seems to be a group of male nurses active in the Facebook group. There's just no one attractive I can see.

I had an interview with some lady at Workforce services that went over a job plan with me. She was giving me job-hunting advice. I FINALLY had an interview today with the Better Business Bureau. You sign up businesses to get accreditation. The man sharing the information talked about how most people average 50,000 a year for being on the phone a whole lot. When he described the work as being primarily on the phone. Uh... NOOO!!! I did that when I didn't have a choice. I'm not doing that again.

I told him after our group interview that I didn't think it was for me. I want the chance to make a lot more money in something challenging. I'm sure the BBB will be challenging for maybe a month after which it won't be worth it to me. I don't want to work the entire day talking to people ONLY on the phone. I need face-to-face interaction.

Poverty and how it affects others so significantly. Look to poor and needy so they shall not suffer. How can we help. Everyone creates their own difficulties. We are all beggars so we need to help the poor. We all beg and ask for mercy. Pray for those in need. Poor in things of the world and also the poor in heart. Prayer is vain if we do not help the needy. Not endorsing pan-handling or Quioxotic social programs. We need to find out what God wants us to do as there is no blanket answer, we all need to do this. Observe the law of the fast. At a minimum we know this is one thing we can do. Fast at least monthly and be generous. God will be generous to us as we are with him. Acknowledges how blessed he is and. Because I have be given much I too must give. Pres. Monson helped the widows, fatherless, oppressed and the poor. Brothers' Brother.

I think I'm losing weight but not a whole lot yet. I gave my scale away. I need to weigh myself so I can even tell if there's a difference. I ordered Dr. Joel Furhman's Reversing Diabetes Book. Cheap ice-cream has a nice low carb count.

The next orthodontist appointment I have is when I'll only have 1 tray left. FINALLY. I found these amazing ginger and nori tortilla chips at Costco that have only 11 carbs per serving. Cheap ice-cream also has the best carb count. It's why I keep buying vanilla ice-cream or ice-cream bars. Orange bars have more. Weird the chocolate covered bars are the best as far as carb-counts are concerned.

I bought sil mai and har gaw again this time from some restaurant in West Valley that was recommended. They had the best har gaw.
