Love, love, looove my EMZ!!! I bought chocolate protein mix yesterday from Walmart. Tomorrow is a breast cancer awareness fundraising zumbathon and we are supposed to dress like superheroes. It sounds totally fun and I bought these t-shirt/cape superhero combos last night when I was at Walmart, I got Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman. I can wear one tomorrow evening. I'll put some makeup on and actually take pictures.
I just need to add weight training and watch better what I eat. I'm going to finish the potstickers I have in the freezer buuut they have 33 carbs in them which is veeery baaad. I need to learn to make my own shu mai and har gow. Mostly meat and a thinnn layer of whatever to hold it together.
Ether 3
9 And the Lord said unto him: Because of thy faith thou hast seen that I shall take upon me flesh and blood; and never has man come before me with such exceeding faith as thou hast; for were it not so ye could not have seen my finger. Sawest thou more than this?
I am grateful for the faith I have been blessed with. The state better give me an interview for one of those librarian jobs. I'm not stupid. I don't know any other librarians with an MBA AND an MLS in Utah anyway. It is huge. I don't have nearly the amount of experience of many other librarians but I know what I do have is awesome.
I was looking at the state library web site yesterday and I don't see my former teacher Cheryl Mansen OR Sarah Weber. I know Sarah is now the manager at Smith library but I don't know where Cheryl went.
Finding Lasting Peace and Building Eternal Families - L. Tom Perry
We must never let the noise of the world overpower and overwhelm that still, small voice.
Our homes must be holy places in order to stand against the pressures of the world. Remember that the greatest of all the blessings of the Lord come through and are given to righteous families.
The most powerful teaching a child will ever receive will come from concerned and righteous fathers and mothers.
The decisions made by the women of this generation will be eternal in their consequences. May I suggest that the mothers of today have no greater opportunity and no more serious challenge than to do all they can to strengthen the [home]”
Fathers are personally involved in leading family prayers, daily scripture reading, and weekly family home evenings.
Of course, prayers are more important than fruit. A successful parent should never be too busy to capture a moment in a child’s life when an important lesson can be taught.
t is my firm conviction that there has never been a period in my many years of life when our Father in Heaven’s children have needed the guiding hand of faithful, devoted parents more.
I have to attend a job-seeking workshop at Workforce services. I also need to get my interview skills down pact. I can prepare for this interview to the best of my ability.
