I am attending my first Zumbathon today from 6-8pm AND then I'm going to go home, take a shower and see Meet the Mormons at the Gateway theater. I'm excited to go to both. I think I'm going to try dressing up like batman. I have Wonder Woman and Superman T-shirt/Cape combo T-shirts but the Wonder Woman and Superman need some red tights to go with it and I don't have any. I have my blue pants but I think it's the wrong blue.

I'm excited to try this. We will see how it turns out.

The negative commentary about the Prophet Joseph Smith will increase as we move toward the Second Coming of the Savior. The half-truths and subtle deceptions will not diminish. There will be family members and friends who will need your help. Now is the time to adjust your own spiritual oxygen mask so that you are prepared to help others who are seeking the truth.²¹
The constant water balloon volleys from the sidelines may occasionally get you wet, but they need never, never extinguish your burning fire of faith.
Listening to the Prophet’s testimony in your own voice will help bring the witness you seek.

Interesting, I can attest to that. The spirit I felt any time I shared with investigator's the story of the first vision was so sweet. My companion and I always quoted EXACTLY what Joseph Smith wrote for the moment when God and the Savior appeared to him. I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me. ... When the light rested upon me I saw two personages whose brightness and glory defy all description standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said pointing to the other, This is my beloved Son. Hear Him. Feeling the spirit when others testify is always sweet BUT nothing can compare to feeling it when you testify yourself!!!

It is only appropriate that this is the talk I read today as I prepare to see Meet the Mormons, a result of the marvelous work that has been done since that pivotal day.
