M. Russell Ballard
We will not and cannot lead them astray
Speak with a united voice it is the voice of the Lord
Short and then long-term consequences
We need to hang on with both hands, stay in the boat, do not lose focus
The fundamental principles of our religion are the testimonies of Jesus Christ and all other things are appendages to this. Don't focus on the appendages, don't be distracted with less important things or practices or focus on questions or doubts. JS was a seeker. What matters most? It should lead us to be kind loving disciples

Richard G. Scott
We must take time to actively exercise our faith. Fundamental habits tools
1. Prayer - choose this often, use several times a day, share feelings, experiences, include him in every aspect of your daily life, help to manage these challenges, arm children morning and night with the power of family prayer. Fortify with family prayer should be a non-negotiable part of life.

2. Scriptures - He often communicates with us this way, integral part of daily life, must study with children, take the time to study these, more important than sleep, schoolwork, television shows. Daily studying of the scriptures. Devote time to study God's word, peace will prevail. Challenges are an important part of mortality, strength to resist temptations, all will be made right.

3. Weekly FHE - Do not make it an afterthought, decide family will be together NOTHING is more important including homework. The gospel should be taught formally and informally. FHE precious time to bear testimony, strengthen family bonds, develop traditions, talk to each other and have fun!!!
Take away stress, bring direction,

4. Go to the temple. No more peaceful place in this world. Use it often, schedule a regular time to be there, listen, ponder, pray about the ordinances. Remember more blessings come from providing your own family names.

Our Savior is the prince of peace. When we are consistent in all these things we are actively responding to his invitation to come to him. We exercise our agency through this. We can overcome everything through these things.

Is this the right person to marry? Through years of serving the Lord often comes down to an area of only a few degrees.

If you continue to live as you are living, will the promises of your patriarchal blessing be fulfilled?
After this I pondered and realized I needed to change certain things

1. Consider options with the end in mind. Understand who we are and why we are here gives us the broader vision and clarity about what path we should take. Lehi learned of his mission and left his gold and all his precious things, Joseph Smith completed his mission. What does the Lord expect from us?
Above all right to personal revelation
2. B prepared, examples of prophets. None had easy journeys, are we prepared to leave our comfort zones? Felt he needed to seek additional education in the United States. We are children of Almighty God and he has a plan for us to grow and achieve our potential. Expand our knowledge temporal and spiritual.
3. Share this vision with the people we love. When we decide to take a certain path our loved ones will be affected. They will see this too, needed his wife's support, shared vision helped him achieve this.
Just because things are well does not mean they can't be better.

Allan F. Packer
Don't become distracted. Be willing to change.
We must each obtain our spiritual passports.
Qualifying for exaltation becomes a quest of a lifetime.
God set the requirements for exaltation
Through the atonement of Jesus Christ we add stamps to our passports.
Our success is largely determined by how we live the gospel in the home. Family history this is part of it - how we do this will affect my exaltation. Family history includes the present as we create this. We now have the doctrines the technology and the temples, can be done with relative ease. Most obstacles have been removed. An individual's hesitation cannot be helped. Make the decision to take a step. Records for the book. Calls for a change in our priorities, for our dead and ourself. We need the stamps in our spiritual passports. With few exceptions, everyone can do it. It's time to take the covers off our hatchets, Rise up o saints of God, to serve the King of Kings.

Hugo E. Martinez
He who serves in some things is good for some things but he who serves in nothing is good for nothing.
First observe, then serve
Being a good example is how we become his under sheperds, our service and personal ministry is
shown through serving others

Larry S. Katcher
Powerful forces
Felt he should leave and ended up somehow to Provo, UT when he was not LDS. He was baptized and found meaning to his life, questions and challenges were presented to him, many wanted to help him see he made a mistake when he converted. Did I not speak peace to your mind? Still he had uncertainty.

David A. Bednar
Why are latter-day saints so eager to tell me about what they believe?

President Thomas S. Monson
Invoke blessings of heaven.
