Urban Poly Princess

Instead of emergency preparedness we did a group activity. We were given a bunch of random stuff to come up with something to sell to the rest of the groups. Our group did a retreat for ants- ...uh huh that's really what we did-NOT my idea BUT I didn't have a better one. One group did the armor of God which was really good. I think they did the best job of incorporating the various items. David's group did an online type order-date-thing. Jonni played the girl ordering online and David played the date. He was so cute. He did a great job. Their group didn't really use the objects creatively but David's acting made the group interesting.

I didn't get a chance to talk to him. I didn't make the effort I needed to make either. I did try yesterday. Krista wanted to leave so I did without saying hello. She drove so I didn't want to be the person making her stick around somewhere she didn't want to be. I should have told him he did a great job because he did. I just texted him that. He's usually asleep now so he'll probably read it tomorrow.

Peach days festival is Friday. I'm excited to attend, go through the Brigham City open house without feeling like my feet are going to fall off and also have my piece of peach pie at Maddox. I'm glad Krista wants to go because I haven't had the chance to appreciate the temple since the last time I went through all I could think about was how much my feet hurt and how tired I was. Stake conference is this weekend too. This is a 3-day week that I'm going to just looove!!!
