Peachy!!!

I went to the Brigham City Temple open house with Krista. It is gorgeous although small AND it was VERY nice to tour it without a crowd and without my feet killing me. We got there a little after 11am. We took the temple tour, took a bunch of pictures there, then looked for Maddox. It was sooo crowded which was encouraging since it probably meant the food was good AND it was great. I started with my peach pie because I didn't want to be full from my meal first. It is to die for!!! The peaches taste FRESH and the whipped cream is divine. The rolls are sooo good too. I've never had clam chowder better than that and the shrimp steak was o.k.-I looove shrimp so I was hoping I'd love this shrimp steak that was like chicken fried steak only shrimp. Nooo I didn't love this. I should've had a regular steak since they raise their own beef. Live and learn!!!

After lunch we went to look for Sharla's fruit stand but couldn't find it so instead I just stopped at some random guys peach stand where I got 6 peaches for a dollar and 24 cents. We hit up the Peach Days Festival which was active but I could tell it's a lot busier at night. I wanted my pink cowboy hat. I've been trying to get one since I moved here. It was only $15. The Cache Valley Fair wanted to sell me one for $25 but I thought I didn't have enough cash. After sitting at the rodeo I realized I DID have enough cash and went back there when I was drenched from the looong rain shower but they were gone.

Brigham City is a charming little town. It has more personality than Smithfield or Richmond. I like Hyrum but Nibley, Millville, Wellsville, Mantua, Tremonton, and Garland don't have any personality. Neither does Honeyville.

I was thinking of attending the 31+ dance tonight but I don't feel like socializing with people older than my mother and I know that's what I'll find. I need to buy Sarah some scented lotion for her shower tomorrow. I'm so excited for her. She is a good person. Stake Conference should be good too. Last Stake Conference I was on a spiritual buzz. I hope I can have that this time.
