Back to Work!!!

I looove my job!!! My students are reading the APA sample paper with all the notes about what to include. I need to change it again to include my notes specifically for my English 98 class. I have 3 students but only 2 showed up. The other student is the one with the Hawaiian last name. She used to be married to some Hawaiian guy.

I don't know what happened to my conference talk notes last night. I read my entry this morning and it cut out a lot of portions I copied to include.

Mosiah 14
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he aopened not his mouth; he is brought as a blamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb so he opened not his mouth.

More pretty language with Isaiah and another oppressed and afflicted reference.

Until We Meet Again - Thomas S. Monson
Our hearts have been touched, and our testimonies of this divine work have been strengthened as we have felt the Spirit of the Lord. May we long remember what we have heard these past two days. I urge you to study the messages further when they are printed in coming issues of the Ensign and Liahona magazines.

We are a worldwide Church, brothers and sisters. Our membership is found across the globe. I admonish you to be good citizens of the nations in which you live and good neighbors in your communities, reaching out to those of other faiths as well as to our own. May we be tolerant of, as well as kind and loving to, those who do not share our beliefs and our standards. The Savior brought to this earth a message of love and goodwill to all men and women. May we ever follow His example.

My brothers and sisters, I want you to know how grateful I am for the gospel of Jesus Christ, restored in these latter days through the Prophet Joseph Smith. It is the key to our happiness. May we be humble and prayerful, having the faith that our Heavenly Father can guide and bless us in our lives.

I invoke the blessings of heaven upon each of you. May your homes be filled with peace, harmony, courtesy, and love. May they be filled with the Spirit of the Lord. May you nurture and nourish your testimonies of the gospel, that they will be a protection to you against the buffetings of Satan.

Even our prophet's ending talk has instruction that will help us. Not only does he give us a blessing but he also expresses his wishes for our success. We are so lucky to have men worthy and righteous enough to lead us and provide us with such valuable instruction we need so very much today.
