Tyler FINISHED his paper in class AND before I could post this. I went home and fell asleep watching a Korean drama before I woke up, took out my contacts and went to bed. This morning I was pulled over by a police officer for not turning into the closest lane. I thought I didn't have my insurance on me but it was in my glove compartment with a bunch of other papers. He let me off with a warning.
I made it to my class on time and I am grateful for that. Yesterday I complained to my boss about lds.org being blocked. She told me she'd look into it. This morning I received the conference talks on CD on my desk with a pink ribbon. She is so sweet. She definitely didn't need to do that. She told me I shouldn't be listening to anything at work and I told her sometimes I'm shelving books or putting labels on books, menial tasks that should be able to be completed while listening to conference talks. I told her I like listening to conference talks AND music BUT that I always feel like I should listen to conference B4 I listen to music or anything else. She is awesome!!!
Mosiah 16
1 And now, it came to pass that after Abinadi had spoken these words he stretched forth his hand and said: The time shall come when all shall see the a of the Lord; when b nation, kindred, tongue, and people shall see eye to eye and shall cbefore God that his d are just.

My students are furiously working on their papers and whatever else.
The Power of the Priesthood in the Boy - Ted R. Callister
He said he had always felt that the reason his mother did not get relief from the bishop’s blessing was not because the Lord failed to honor the bishop’s blessing but because the Lord had reserved this blessing for a boy, to teach him a lesson that the priesthood in the boy is just as powerful as the priesthood in the man when exercised in righteousness.
If they are expected only to conduct quorum meetings and attend bishopric youth committee meetings, then that is all they will do. But you leaders can give them a greater vision—the Lord’s vision. And why is vision so critical? Because with increased vision comes increased motivation.
God’s answers come by the still, small voice—feelings of peace or comfort, impressions to do good, enlightenment—sometimes in the form of tiny seeds of thoughts which if reverenced and nourished can grow into spiritual redwoods.
At the core of our leadership, as a central part of our ministry, should be the burning, driving, unrelenting resolve to go get the lost and bring them back.
We can raise the bar and vision for these young men, and they will respond.
I am tired today. I made spam fried rice and garlic shrimp yesterday. I think eating all that shrimp and rice made me extra sleepy yesterday. I ate about half of my spam fried rice for breakfast along with a peach. My peach was so yummy. I can't believe my director had to tell me to let my peaches sit on the counter before I eat them to let them ripen. They are sooo good. One thing I love about this area are the peaches. Now I feel like driving to Brigham City just for a Maddox peach pie. That's actually a VERY good idea for me to get the Damunis. Maddox peach pie is scrumptious!!!
