My Random Blogging Therapy
My visiting teacher Marci has her nephews visiting her from Montana. Their ages are 5 through 12. They were supposed to get a tour of the football stadium but it was cancelled. I felt bad to hear their disappointment so I asked my friend Val if she could do anything to help. I knew her husband was some sort of coach for USU but I didn't know exactly what he did. He is the assistant athletic director for football operations. I'm not sure exactly what that means. He told Val he'd make sure someone would give them a tour at 1pm.
I looked up Waqa Damuni online to figure out what his position is. I had to drive away from my apartment so I could tell Marci. When I reached her she told me she just heard from JT, some guy in compliance who was supposed to arrange it in the first place. I told Val what happened and she told me Waqa just called JT and told him to give the tour tomorrow. Val said Marci originally wanted the tour on Thursday which is when football camp happens and is why he couldn't do it.
I hope Marci's nephews have fun. I know Waqa and Val made it happen. I need to bake them something to thank them. I have some ideas. I think they have 7 kids so it's kind of like George's family. I am grateful for their quick response to help me. Waqa is from Laie but I never interacted with him. I used to dance with his brother Jack and his parents worked at PCC too.
I'm very grateful for their willingness to help me so quickly
