Urban Poly Princess

I just keep getting blessed and blessed and blessed!!! I tried unsuccessfully to hook up my wireless router. Chris is my lunch relief AND a computer instructor AND an IT person at Stevens-Henager College. I told him how I plugged my router in but it didn't work. He told me I had to configure it online and he showed me exactly how to do that. I followed his instructions but the web address to do that at wouldn't come up AND I entered it SEVERAL times. I returned to the library and told him what happened. He told me to go home and get it so he could do it for me.

Apparently someone had already configured it somehow although the box was NEW and the parts of the router were wrapped in plastic. He worked at it for over an hour and finally uncovered some sort of master password to reset it AFTER using alcohol to remove the ink someone had used to cover it on the router. I think it was like a puzzle to Chris because it was like he was compelled to figure it out and set it up for me.

My router was $20 from Amazon. I can't believe Chris figured that out for me. I am very grateful to him. It was the puzzle challenge that motivated him. He's happily married to a cute wife. He's not doing anything for the wrong reason. I'm just lucky it fell in line with what he likes to do. Sometimes I feel so undeserving of the blessings somehow I keep finding myself receiving.

My eye looks all better. I feel like I can wear my contacts tomorrow BUT I'm just going to wait a day and change according to the schedule the doctor gave me.
