Mahina came with her husband George to pick up the washer and dryer. It was so nice to see her. There are some people that will just be fun forever. I forgot to tell her the washer and dryer were upstairs and they didn't bring a dolly. Somehow he disconnected everything including asking a neighbor to borrow a wrench then moved both across concrete to his truck. Mahina's help was minimal. Her husband went to school with me in Tonga and although I remember him I don't remember him well. How he moved EVERYTHING without expecting me or Mahina to lift a finger is something I think is normal BUT I know it's a Poly thing. He didn't ask me if I had a wrench, I DON'T!!!
Mahina told me George does that for his work so he knew very well how to set up a washer and dryer. Yesterday he moved stuff for Elder Bednar who took a phone call from President Packer when he was there. I wondered if she'd really come and get it and I expected her not to come just as much as I thought she'd be here.
I cooked a pot of rice 2 nights ago and I didn't use it at all so I decided to make musubi. I ate 3 then a bunch of my guava cake. I still have more to pack but I am taking my time. The bulk is done. Kitchen stuff, bathroom stuff, all my pictures upstairs and the pictures in my bathroom downstairs. My clothes and shoes had me worried but they're all done. I'd like to move all my furniture downstairs too with the exception of my bed.
This is going to go smoothly. I just remembered I need to change my electricity address. I have to go there in person because that's the only way they do it. My inspection is tomorrow at 5pm. I asked my moving helpers to be at my house at 10am. That's when I need to have my deposit/rent check set to go.
