My Random Blogging Therapy
I just read one of those lame lists about non-tech majors who were successful. Mitt Romney was an English major from BYU before he went to Harvard and got both an MBA and a JD. I want a JD too and I have the same undergraduate degree. He just never got an MLS.
The successful people portrayed were overwhelmingly English majors but some majored in "Classics", History, Philosophy, communications and journalism. I'm glad I was an English major.
One thing I've always wanted to master/figure out is how to use a grill. I'm glad I have a deck so I can figure that out this summer. I've decided to collect my blue dishes again, decorate, find someplace safe to skate near my new home and set up my living area for my Zumba obsession. I want to be superfit. I should drive to the alcohol store and see if they have boxes after this, NO I should try the daytime.
I can't wait to be done packing. I just want to be in my new home now and working on what I need to be working on. I like working on my goals. Progression is such a gift. I feel so fortunate when I teach my classes and think of the blessings I enjoy. Fifteen more minutes!!!
