My Random Blogging Therapy
I still love everything!!! I FINALLY figured out my new diabetes monitor. It's about half the size. I have to figure out how to pay for my license. While taking the test is only $60, actually getting the license will cost around $300. Next I'll get to interview brokers then get to pay another round of fees. Just beginning in Real Estate is going to end up costing me close to $2000. The class was 450, I got Stevens-Henager to buy my textbook, the test itself is around $60 then the license is going to put me back around $300. Of course I also get to spend more money to join all the various professional associations and then subscribe to the MLS. There are probably also office fees. ONCE I actually begin working there's continuing education and EVERY house I sell will have a cut taken out for my broker.
This makes it prohibitive to all but the truly motivated to get it done. I am motivated but I need to pay bills and I'm not going to be able to get my license until maybe March although I'm taking the test before that AND who knows maybe I'll find another way to pay for it although I can't think of anything now. I can't wait to do this Yoli thing. I force myself to workout every morning now because I want to quit taking these pills and monitoring my blood sugar. The eating has been surprisingly easy. I'm supposed to be keeping a food diary for the nutritionist to review. I'd rather do it online. I think I'll dedicate a blog entirely to that. Last night I had spaghetti sauce over meatballs topped with parmesan cheese. It was filling. This morning I had 2 roast beef sandwiches using 4 slices of white bread. I'm NEVER buying white bread again. I also ate a lime greek yogurt and a tangerine.
I'm having an avocado and chicken nuggets for lunch. I need to buy pork rinds from Smith's. Who knew I'd eat these like chips. I'm sure people think they're gross BUUUT how else will I get a crunchy snack without any carbohydrates? I wish macadamia nuts weren't so expensive everywhere. I used to love getting the big jumbo jar from Costco but from what I'm hearing they haven't had them anywhere for awhile now. They were $12 and would last me over a week. Now I'm eating mixed nuts or cashews. I love cashews because they are great in chicken or tuna salad with grapes and celery. I'm so glad I stocked up on mayo. Thank You couponing. I have to hit up the post office for my coupons today. I didn't do that yesterday because I was too busy running to take my real estate test.

2 Nevertheless, Jacob, my firstborn in the wilderness, thou knowest the greatness of God; and he shall consecrate thineaafflictions for thy gain.
I want my afflictions consecrated for my gain too.

Small and Simple Things - Arnulfo Valenzuela
Our prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, has invited us all to go forth and rescue our brothers and sisters. He said: “The world is in need of your help. There are feet to steady, hands to grasp, minds to encourage, hearts to inspire, and souls to save. The blessings of eternity await you” (“To the Rescue,” Ensign, May 2001, 48; or Liahona, July 2001, 57).
