Thursday

I have so much to do.  Eliminating all my white flour products, white rice AND then also ALL sugar is not going to be fun but I've done it before WITHOUT a super important reason like I have now. I guess I still want my children naturally. I was freaking out and started looking up information about pregnancy and diabetes. I just read something recommending diabetic mothers get their weight and blood sugar under control BEFORE getting pregnant.

I can't think of better motivation. I have A LOT to do today. Real Estate study, buying better foods, working out, paying a couple bills. I'm going to eat a couple tuna sandwiches with the white bread I bought the other night. I will make better choices NOW but I'm not going to throw anything away either.

Mosiah 21

14 And they did humble themselves even in the depths of humility; and they did cry mightily to God; yea, even all the day long did they cry unto their God that he would deliver them out of their afflictions.
15 And now the Lord was slow to hear their cry because of their iniquities; nevertheless the Lord did hear their cries, and began to soften the hearts of the Lamanites that they began to ease their burdens; yet the Lord did not see fit to deliver them out of bondage.
Ye Are No More Strangers - Gerald Causse
In this Church our wards and our quorums do not belong to us. They belong to Jesus Christ. Whoever enters our meetinghouses should feel at home. The responsibility to welcome everyone has growing importance. The world in which we live is going through a period of great upheaval. Because of the increased availability of transportation, speed of communication, and globalization of economies, the earth is becoming one large village where people and nations meet, connect, and intermingle like never before.
I bear witness that no one is a stranger to our Heavenly Father. There is no one whose soul is not precious to Him. With Peter, I testify that “God is no respecter of persons: but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.”9
