My Random Blogging Therapy
Usually when I start an eating program/fitness thing I lose around 10 lbs the first week. I have changed my eating habits and I have been working out consistently so I would've felt good no matter what the scale said. I'm glad it said what it did although I wish it was more. It's 11am now.
I just had my native American friends visit me at work. Nice but it threw off my eating schedule AND I didn't make anything for lunch so I had to call Jimmy Johns and order a sandwich since they deliver. The sandwich was alright although NOT worth the 8 dollars I ended up spending on the sandwich and tip. My friends are coming over tonight for dinner. Taylor requested musubi so I'll make that but I'll make some teriyaki chicken since I took chicken out and fried rice to go along with that. I have lots of ice-cream I can serve for dessert. I'm going to leave as soon as Judy gets here so I can cook AND be done by 7 when they should be there. They drove here from Montezuma, Utah. I think that's way down South but I'm not certain. I'll look it up on the map. I can't wait to see Lakesha's baby girl. I invited them to a missionary fireside once they came to with me. I also invited them to dinner when I tried to get Brandon to fellowship them since he's Navajo. Lakeesha used to visit me all the time in the library. I showed them Johnny Lingo once when they came over.
They are the reason why I planned that BBQ they didn't even attend. I felt so bad because the first time we planned it I went to Salt Lake and forgot about it. I was determined to do it the following week when it became this unruly monster and then they had to go home at the last minute. I just wanted them to meet other LDS people who were friendly. They are good friends to have and I'm glad I met them. She's here with her mother too. I'm going to get them to play phase 10 tonight. I'll have to bust it out. I bought Phase 10 and UNO for a Christmas gift to whoever I was supposed to give Christmas gifts to but I had no name in the envelope they gave me and everyone I spoke to received their gifts. I wish I had a tiny folding table. This makes me think I need one. I have my 8-foot-long table from having George and his family over at Christmas. A small folding card table can't cost too much although I'm not buying it NOW. I did order my displayport from Amazon today. I ordered it with my book order and gave my boss cash. Sooo hopefully the 2 components I need for my television to work will arrive.
