My Random Blogging Therapy
I might march after all. I quizzed my friend Nikki, a recruiter for high school students, who just finished her MBA through Stevens-Henager College and she said after the second reviewer finishes changes were extremely minor and she printed the hard-copies, sent it off and received an email telling her Congratulations within a week from the second reviewer's comments. She's getting her diploma in the mail but she said she's still waiting on it now.
Sooo I can March here in Logan with Nikki, Nikki's boss and maybe even Eli and his wife. I wouldn't mind that. I want pictures with my co-workers anyway. Someone ordered my gown for me because they couldn't get ahold of me to tell them what I wanted with my MLS. Sooo they got this super big thing that annoyed me BUUUT it was better than a gown that was too small I suppose. I'm not going to make my family come but they can if they want to do that. Between George's job, Noelani's job, Alisa's Zumba and Nata's school they may not have time. What I need to do is make time to attend Nata's graduation. My first master's degree I REALLY wanted them to attend AND I instructed my niece that she had to make enough candy leis to come up to my chin.
Stevens-Henager College's graduation is really nice and is held at the tabernacle. Salt Lake's graduation is at the Capitol Theatre. I attended the first year I worked here because my friend Colton graduated and I took him baloons. Last year I didn't care enough about anyone graduating to attend and graduation is always held on a Friday meaning MY DAY OFF!!! Why not!!! I can commemorate my MBA AND have pictures to remember my first fulltime library job AND my MBA along the way-WHY this has been worth it even if it is in Logan.
