Sunday

Today was Rich's last Sunday in our ward. He gets married on April 1st and his reception is in the middle of April in Idaho. His invitation is cute. YES I'm actually going to attend with Krista and her fiance Anthony in Idaho. I hope he lives his life well.

My cousin Lulu called me. She is in graduate school at UH. I had a blast with her. She is an extremely talented singer, loves the outdoors and I'm not sure what took her to Hawaii now. She's older than me and hasn't found her eternal companion yet either. She attended some midsingle ward in Salt Lake City. I went with her once to church but I thought I vowed I'd be dead before I attended one.

There was a Tongan singles ward in South Jordan I loved. I remember telling a member of the stake presidency when I renewed my recommend that I needed to start attending a family ward. The young adult ward kept getting younger and younger. He told me that I wouldn't feel comfortable there and that I should just continue to attend the Singles ward. Yeah it wasn't cool when the 9-year-olds I used to mentor started attending my ward. Douglas and Lesieli are already married. My nieces and nephews from my first cousins are getting married or married now too.

Our ward is tiny still but it'll get bigger. I had Justin and Rich in my class today. We REALLY need more ward missionaries. Jayme told us a beautiful story about how she was led to the music we're singing for Easter today. She said it is much more difficult than she would've chosen but it is what Heavenly Father wants us to sing. I'm glad I was her visiting teacher. The choir has been awesome even if I can't sing like Leeann who is an incredible alto singer. Jenny UHarriet was awesome too. I'm not afraid of singing with a choir now and I'm glad I did it in the first place. I'm going to sing with our temple choir and I'm so excited to do that. ACTUALLY I'm really excited to hear from whoever speaks at our devotional. We are combining with the 2nd ward for our choir. That's good.

I think Jon is overwhelmed. I asked him when we're having our meetings, what the ward mission plan is and if we're getting any ward missionaries. There's he, Beth and Esther and he assured me he's trying to get some guys. I'm losing both of my home teachers. Rich will be married in a week and Anthony marries Krista on May I think the 27th BUT I'm not really sure either. Justin wore a new suit today so he was looking spiffy. Krista is a diehard. She told me to invite Justin to come with us to Rich's wedding in Idaho. I told her to let me worry about who I wanted to invite and not to say anything to Justin. He continues to be gorgeous but while I know we can have fun together at a certain level, I can't be myself completely with him.

My nephew gets baptized Saturday so I'm going to try to find a substitute for the temple asap.
