Urban Poly Princess

What was strange to me yesterday is that the guy who I took forever to edit his paper speaks well compared to my Latino female student. Their writing however is VERY different. The skill level is very different. This is weird to me because the male student also reads a lot. How does your writing NOT improve if you enjoy reading?

I need to start getting ready for work. It starts with eating lunch and schmoozing with the computer science professionals from the community. I have not received anything from that student who said she'd email me her essay.

I'm going to make sure I'm responsible for 25% of her grade and she's NOT going to like what she receives.

I think my student last night was appalled at ALL the editing I needed to do on his paper. I can't help it if his writing isn't there.
