3 And it came to pass that he was ^aobedient unto the word of the Lord, wherefore he did as the Lord commanded him.

Obedience is the first law of heaven and is the foundation of my favorite talk the Will of the Father in All Things. Obedience shows our faith in our father in heaven. It is how we commit.

In the Garden of Gethsemane, our Savior and Redeemer did not shrink from drinking the bitter cup of the Atonement.²² And on the cross He suffered again to do His Father’s will, until at last He could say, “It is finished.”²³ He had endured to the end. In response to the Savior’s perfect obedience in standing strong, our Heavenly Father declared, “Behold my Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, in whom I have glorified my name.”²⁴

Obedience is the theme of the day. I attended the CVLA meeting at Logan High School. There was a percussion concert with local juvenile author Tyler Whitesides who wrote Janitors. The last person who checked it out never returned it. There is now a book 3 that just came out. I should read it just because of the local connection. I stayed for the concert that was NOOOT good although if I was 10 or under it would probably be fantastic. I left early.

Logan High School is small. This really is a tiny town. Actually the high school in Smithfield is larger. They were sooo noisy. I thought I was going to go crazy. So many loud children. I bought a case of spaghetti sauce, spam and chicken. I also got Devil's food cake, macaroni and cheese and saimin. 

I like buying that stuff in bulk. It lasts forever. I still have tuna from when I bought that case awhile ago. I started watching a Korean drama I can return to or not.
