Urban Poly Princess

I've been turning our APA process over in my mind. I usually go into the classroom to teach APA one day for 2 different classes and then I also correct papers. This time I'm going to try to teach APA in one week. I told the dean I wanted to teach the entire paper-writing process because usually when I teach my portion they tell me Marilyn taught them something different. I usually just tell them I'm right. I've talked to Marilyn about this and she doesn't seem to want to change that. At first I was a little frustrated because I teach this and enforce this but then they never come across it again in their academic career unless they go further with their schooling. Sharla said she thinks it's good for all students to be exposed to writing at least 1 research paper in their college career. I was an English major so I usually had to write several papers for each class BUT ALL students had to write 2 research papers-English 112 and 315. When I went to BYU my AP English took care of English 250 and 112. I ended up having to take it at BYU-Hawaii that used it in place of different classes.

I HAAATED Biology at the Y-I did just enough to pass so when I got a D I was very happy. The joy however evaporated at BYU-Hawaii when they let me know I had to take it AGAIN since D credit didn't transfer. I took it through BYU-online then had it transferred to cancel the D at the Y. I got a B BUT I had to take a class I hated twice.

I asked Stacey about my enrollment paperwork today. I'm so proud of myself for not bugging her about it before she said it would be ready. I signed sooo many things and initialed a lot of stuff too. So I thought it was 27,000 but it's actually 31,000. So I have to be paid REALLY well to switch the company I work for in the next 2 years.

Tonight's our presidency meeting at 9:45pm. These are fun although they do take looong.
