My Random Blogging Therapy
I'm trying to resist the urge to sleep until 10. Ideally I read somewhere we should rise at the same time each day. This is optimal for our health and I get that, I just love sleeping and I have a tendency to stay up late. Zumba didn't happen because my uncle came over and I wasn't going to tell him, "I'm going to do Zumba now so you'll have to wait until I'm done to watch television and pass the time." I started watching Playful Kiss - the Korean Drama my student-friend thinks is THE BEST. They are teenyboppers in high school and I'm going to finish it just to tell her I did. I'm glad it's only 15 episodes. Most Korean dramas are 25-26. The main actor looks 10 AND he looks like a girl. Pretty??? YES definitely BUT waaay too thin. VERY metro-sexual. By comparison although my friend is very pretty he IS NOT too thin and he doesn't look like he could be a doll. I would love to see him in one of those anime haircuts however although I know that would take some convincing. My Korean drama fetish? Perhaps. He has Asian hair though and it would look good on him. I like Lee Minho because he is beautiful but he is definitely a man NOT a little boy.
I was wearing red lipstick at our last presidency meeting. Jodie told me she could never wear red lipstick. Tone is everything. She said it matter-of-factly, not to criticize me. There is a difference. Funny, someone else could've said the exact same thing AND people have said similar things only to be rude. That's usually when the B comes out in me. I told her she could wear red because of her skin tone. Then she told me it wasn't her skin tone just her personality that would prevent it. I liked this exchange because it reminded me of so many similar exchanges I've had with women who are in catty-B mode BUT she was definitely NOT. The way someone says something matters much more than what is actually said.
I was REALLY tired when my uncle left at 11 and I had fallen asleep twice sitting in one of my uncomfortable chairs not meant to be sat in over an hour I discovered. Whatever skating does to me it helps me get to bed on time and not sleep my life away.
Helaman 1
11 And he went unto those that sent him, and they all entered into a covenant, yea, swearing by their everlasting Maker, that they would tell no man that Kishkumen had murdered Pahoran.
I can't remember where it mentions the wicked covenants of the Ganianton robbers and someone is specifically told not to record them for posterity. Covenants have amazing power both righteous and wicked.
I know it. I live it. I love it. - Ann M. Dibb 2nd Counselor in the YW General Presidency
My friend Facebooked when this talk was being given that this is Pres. Monson's daughter. I can see the resemblance. Her picture with the talk on the website must be older because she's gained a lot of weight. When I saw her picture I thought. No, this isn't president Monson's daughter, it must be a different talk but then when I played the video it was the same talk. I read this upstairs first.
I too join her in thinking I am a mormon, I know it. I live it. I love it!!!
I have a lot to do today ending with making rolls for our Easter Extravaganza at the chapel tonight.
