My Random Blogging Therapy
I was hoping to find a shoe measuring thing in the shoe department at Smith's Marketplace so I could email Kimberly, the owner of the skate shop now so she could recommend some skates for me. Skating was very busy tonight. Saturday must be their busy night. Friday had more than during the week but nothing like tonight. It was good for me because it forced me to skate around people who were using my security walls to rest. My left foot was lazy tonight probably because it's not as strong as the right foot/leg. I can definitely maneuver around now it's just not as good as I want it to be. I need to be able to glide and then go faster, take long pretty strokes instead of the short abrupt things I was doing tonight although I never felt like I might fall and skating/walking on the carpet is nothing like it should be. I couldn't even walk in the ice skates Monday. I'm really grateful for that experience because it never would've prompted me to do this AND I'm very glad I'm doing this. I did one week of skating if you count Monday's ice-skating disaster.
I'm making chicken katsu and my cake then starting my rather late fast. I'm going to start reading the book Heidi lent me. I haaate LDS fiction BUUUT Erin likes similar stuff too and it may help me understand my sisters better AND it is part of my professional development. I need to read at least one Anita Stansfield too. It'll help me understand my patrons better AND I want to end up in public libraries anyway.
I looked at a bunch of clothes as Smith's Marketplace because they had sales for days. I saw some cute light-weight sweaters but nothing I HAVE to have. I'm wearing a Marilyn Monroe hot pink shirt I found at Walmart. I wore tennis shoes. It felt weird to be flat on the ground. If it was the summer I'd have my high black wedge sandals on. Instead I wore tennis shoes instead of my boots. That was stupid I felt like a boy walking around Smith's. YES I am freaky that way!!!
The session I attended was very busy. I guess EVERY Saturday session is just that way. It was nice.
