Friday-Beautiful Day

Sleep glorious sleep!!! I woke up at 9ish. Ate a bunch, watched some NCIS, NCIS LA, now ready for Zumba. Downstairs is cold but upstairs the temperature is perfect. Heat does rise. 
Mosiah 10
4 And I did cause that the men should till the ground, and raise all manner of agrain and all manner of fruit of every kind.
 5 And I did cause that the women should spin, and toil, and work, and work all manner of fine linen, yea, and acloth of every kind, that we might clothe our nakedness; and thus we did prosper in the land—thus we did have continual peace in the land for the space of twenty and two years.
This is the part in Mosiah that recounts Zeniff who left Zarahemla. I like how these scriptures specifically mention work as a component of daily life daily PEACEFUL and SUCCESSFUL life. So true. Work is good. 
Prosper, peace, grain and fruit ALL good things in my opinion!!!
Beware Concerning Yourselves- Anthony D. Perkins

His failure to beware concerning himself11 and to act on promptings of the Spirit12 led to the loss of his eternal family.1
Although this was a priesthood talk there are many things ALL members can incorporate. David who slew Goliath and did many things in righteousness loss everything when he failed to act on the promptings of the Spirit. This led to the loss of his eternal family, the source of our greatest joy and happiness. Although I really haven't done anything to act on the spirit yet, I just haven't had opportunities AND I'm not going to ignore that anymore. I have repented for this and I do feel my father in heaven is pleased with me. I think that's why I'm being blessed with opportunities for service although I haven't done my part and prayed for that help. 

There's a lot for me to do today. Time to do that!!!
