My Random Blogging Therapy
I finished polishing my lesson this morning and then I fine-tuned the last stuff during the first sacrament meeting talk. We went and visited Laura too this morning. My lesson went well. I guess I had to share my skating experience with my sisters because that's when the spirit was the best. It was fun but I like my calling now because it's something different. I've been an RS teacher 4x, Gospel Doctrine 3x, RS president and now I'm the RS assistant secretary which is fun, different AND easy!!!-busy work but I do actually feel like I'm making a difference. The presidency is fun and I'm glad I had the chance to get to know them better. I also like the chance going on visits has been. It's fun to get to know the sisters in my relief society.
My friend's back and I did go out of my way to say hello and talk to him for a few minutes. He went to his sister's house for Spring Break. His tone is really nice. He needs to perform more where his voice gets showcased because he has the chops. If I had them you wouldn't get me to shut up. I hope I can develop them in time. Jenny UHarriet is the best person I've tried to follow along. She can look at the music and know immediately what to sound like. Amanda and Jen kept going off. I haven't seen Amanda in about a month. I hope she's alright. I want she and Ryan Reeder to hook up. I like them both and I think they'd be good together. The other Jen-Yes we have 3 Jens in choir!!! sings softly so I can't really follow her. This new Jenny sings well.
I think my friend is doing an internship in SLC or something. YES I was eavesdropping. I saw Gena Packer who is the other sister we visit teach while I was in choir. She just came after work hoping to catch us because she knew we wanted to visit her. I gave her the message by myself in the foyer then went back to sing. SWEET!!! We ARE DONE for March!!!
Our entire ward is having fhe at 6:30 at the Logan Library. We are ALL attending their movie night. I'll try to get there early so I can see Robert and Joseph and get my free books for my library. Listening to my friend talk to this other guy in choir who seems to be moving to SLC too was good. I like what he said to him. This other guy is just quiet. I don't feel like he has the testimony he needs to have. He's bland to me. I hope my friend likes SLC. There's just so much more there to enjoy. He's lucky he gets to leave the farm. I wonder how long he'll be gone. I don't want him to leave. I like seeing him at church and at our activities. I'd love to see him more than that BUT that's for him to take the initiative and if he doesn't that's his decision. I'll do what I can up to a point. As long as I do what I feel like I should, everything will be fine whatever happens or doesn't.
