My Random Blogging Therapy
I do get these so this might be my affliction. In any case I don't feel horrible enough to see a doctor although YES I STILL FEEL LIKE CRAP!!!
I went to the gas station at Maverick where I got gas, a couple drinks and breakfast pizza that was pretty gross. It felt like I was eating ciabatta bread soaked in grease. I'm sure it doesn't help that I can't really taste anything. I am wearing my glasses without makeup because the watery eye thing doesn't work well with contacts. I'm going to try to find a substitute for the temple although it better not hang on that long. I bet these are allergies. It just feels like a head cold but a bad head cold that doesn't go away like it should.
I need to do laundry. Judy's gone this weekend for a family reunion. Our poor library hasn't received any love lately with me gone Tuesday and Wednesday. I wanted to be sure to come in today. It feels like I'm the only one here because, I AM UPSTAIRS RIGHT NOW!!!
There is new software being rolled out and everyone's gone there for training. While I could've gone if I wanted to do that I don't want to go there.
Alma 10
7 As I was journeying to see a very near kindred, behold an angelof the Lord appeared unto me and said: Amulek, return to thine own house, for thou shalt feed a prophet of the Lord; yea, a holy man, who is a chosen man of God; for he has fasted many days because of the sins of this people, and he is an hungered, and thou shalt receive him into thy house and feed him, and he shall bless thee and thy house; and the blessing of the Lord shall rest upon thee and thy house.
So why not just say sister, brother, mother, son instead of a "very near kindred". Why has this only now stood out to me and why is it important that we have this information. Why not just when I was journeying? Probably the least important but then why include it? I love visiting my family. It is something I love about being Tongan. It is nice to have relatives I can visit throughout Salt Lake County and then even Utah Valley. It is nice.
11 For behold, he hath blessed mine house, he hath blessed me, and my women, and my children, and my father and my kinsfolk; yea, even all my kindred hath he blessed, and the blessing of the Lord hath rested upon us according to the words which he spake.
Again I'm sensing that Amulek was close to his extended family. I am grateful to have that element in my life.
