My Random Blogging Therapy
I didn't do the last cut onions on my feet thing but I woke up still feeling like crap but forcing myself to go to work because it's a brand new module and students need their books despite how I feel right now. It is hat day today for spirit week at Stevens-Henager College. They do this every year the week of graduation which is on Friday. I kept thinking this is my last spirit week in excitement but then I remembered my lease ends at the beginning of July.
I'm wearing my black cowboy hat I bought the first year I moved here before I had a chance to buy the pink straw one I got later. I just like that I can wear it for real here and not feel stupid. I wanted a red alligator leather one once. I have a leather red alligator jacket and matching bag. I never did get the hat. I used to always want cute leather black cowboy boots but I never bought them either and I don't want them like I once did. I had a very cute black leather motorcycle jacket I used to love wearing with my jeans and a white tshirt in Hawaii. The jacket was lightweight probably because I found it at a boutique in Hawaii. Black cowboy boots would've completed that look. I was such a clotheshorse. I still am but I am much better than I used to be.
Wearing a cowboy hat just for a fashion statement is as close to anything country that I'm going to get. It was fun to wear it to the rodeo and then my pink one later to the fair.
Alma 7
27 And now, may the peace of God rest upon you, and upon your houses and lands, and upon your flocks and herds, and all that you possess, your women and your children, according to your faith and good works, from this time forth and forever. And thus I have spoken. Amen.
I have exactly enough books for the business class I was worried about. I should be receiving three extra books today too.
