I looove martial arts movies, Bruce Lee and Hip Hop music. OF COURSE one of my guilty pleasures is The Last Dragon starring the hottie Taimak and Vanity from the 80s. I used to think she was sooo pretty. I still do just not like when I was young and first saw this. To the beat of the rhythm of the night by De Barge is also in the film.

Something else I found funny was throughout the movie Leroy or Taimak is searching for the glow that he can reach once he perfects the final stage. He searches for it the entire film. I thought about it when I was thinking about Alma 5 and the physical change someone can experience when he has the spirit enough that the image of Christ is in their countenance. There is a song in the movie called the glow that they play throughout the movie which I own on DVD. I don't know why I hardly ever see it in men anymore. Finally "Bruce Leroy" realizes the glow can only be found within himself.

I think this is different in people. Why have I only seen it in Steven Haderlie who I don't know at all and I'm not interested in getting to know? It is what I loved about my first David friend who is a professor at BYU-Hawaii. He is happily married too and I am glad it never worked with him BUT I always loved that about him. I saw it strongly first with my brother when he first returned from his mission. It is what made me serve a mission myself.
