My Random Blogging Therapy
This lady I know from Salt Lake City is selling me a sari for Halloween. Her sister went to India earlier this summer and had an extra one to sell to me. She's only charging me $35 which is an incredible price for a brand new sari from India. I just posted on Facebook if anyone knew where to get one. I went through a Bollywood phase and I always wanted a Bollywood outfit. Halloween is the perfect occassion to wear one.
USU hosts the Howl each year. People attend from out-of-state. I wanted to attend last year BUT my friend here at work told me NOT to attend and said I should find out what the Institute was doing. My dean said it's like Sodom and Gomorrah and that it was NOT where someone active in the church wanted to be. My friend here told me he took his wife there and has always regretted it. Sad-Logan is dead year-round with the exception of the Howl. They have this huge party here in Logan but it's not appropriate. I'm sure we'll have some sort of ward party which will no doubt be at the other extreme. I can always hit up Salt Lake City. Halloween is on a Wednesday. We dress up at work and hand out candy to the students who visit us to trick or treat. Maybe someone will have a party where they do more than ah.... eat, play board games, other party games AND that's it!!!
Yes Bing negative again. I've been to so many corn maze things I have no desire to go to any more. When I worked as a mentor with the Asian Association I took several groups of children to commercial haunted houses. That was fun to a point. I had to leave early once with a little girl who started crying and screaming.
I need to play Tocatta and Fugue in D minor a lot now. I looove that morbid-sounding organ piece. Bach is my favorite classical comoser. I sort of like Vivaldi too his pieces R relentless. I like that. It reminds me of enduring to the end. It doesn't stop when expected. It just keeps going.
