Down again. What happened with my candybar???!!! It spiked the sugar level and unless I get that down eating right and working out won't make a difference in my weight because I'll be insulin-resistent and that needs to be eliminated so I can lose weight.  At least now I know for sure. So the book so far has taught me to monitor my blood sugar more often to identify clearly what will spike this. I can then avoid eating this immediately and be closer to my goal. I hate this testing BUUUT the greater good and all that. I used to be shooting for under 180 but this book sets the goal at 130 meaning I've only met goal once since this thing started. I'm still not completely done with the book but the bulk is finished.

I just completed a chapter on our spiritual health and how vital it is for our physical health too. The gospel gives me that assurance. I receive additional spiritual truth through my own spiritual lens first. I'm not looking for that through this book. Christmas is getting put away and my normal decorations are up. I love what I've learned so far from this book.
