My cholesterol is fine, blood pressure is fine, my A1C3 is at 9.5 which is good considering when I tested initially it was 10.5. I told him I want to be off meds and he said he wants that too and that I'm on the right track. Except for that 1 day when I had pizza and ice-cream I haven't had anything I consider bad. Right now I'm eating this candy with 12 carbs that cost me $2 BUUUT it is delicious!!! Sooo worth it to me!!! All I'm doing is shopping the health food chocolate and looking for the lowest carb versions I can find. That was good!!! I'm getting more of my chocolate-covered granola bars too. They are fine in moderation. Chocolate and Cheetos is helping me stick with this.

I still have to buy spinach. My doctor actually increased my Metformin dosage because he said I haven't had the side effects many people have experienced. I had a huge problem with that BUUUT Death to Diabetes tells you how to wean yourself off the pills. He said I could quit taking them if my blood sugar gets down to 140-85. Actually I'm going to monitor it more and get it under control. My next appointment will be 3 months from today. The last nurse who gave me my shots was supposed to set it up but she didn't. I want to be at the weight I was in high school when I see him again. I need to buy veggies. I wanted some snack foods badly. I need to figure out the number of veggies I need to get.

I'm making my blood sugar my priority BUUUT I am wondering about how to incorporate carb cycling. Perhaps just a carb meal a week BUUUT I don't feel like I really need it right now. Death to Diabetes advocates NOT eating meat or dairy. NOOO that isn't happening either. Neither have ANY carbs and weight-training kind of demands that you have meat. I plan to have 6 protein/carb meals a day. Jorge Cruise I still think is awesome and I plan to incorporate his advice as well. That is what interests me in carb cycling. I think this first month I am going to focus on lowering my blood sugar. The following 30 I'll work on it still if have to as well as on losing weight.
