Home at last!!!

I don't really get how close I am to work until I walk it but it is EXTREMELY close. This was a great move for that. If they only had a nice grocery store or health food store within walking distance then I could do my shopping. Hu Hot sucks. I cook just as well and at least my meat is fresh. They sooo did not impress me and it was sooo NOOOT worth the $12 it cost. I make better stir-fry. I will give them credit for making me go out of my way to find a good Thai sauce which I did. I've only made it a couple times but it is now on the permanent menu for sure.

Jimmy Johns isn't that great either. Firestone pizza is very good. I just haven't wanted to spend money there. I got some sort of sandwich there once. Sooo good and sooo worth it BUUUT not if you can make your own a lot cheaper. BUUUT their quality is worth their prices which really aren't that bad I just know about all the REALLY good deals.

Sharla is retiring at the end of next month. She has been so great to work with. I am going to miss her very much. I am organizing her work retirement party/get together with/for her from me and my fellow coworkers. We have the date and the place picked out. Now I'd just like to see what they have available for parties. I'll check online to see what rooms they have available. I'm going to convince Afu and Brooke to provide live entertainment. I think he sort of agreed when I suggested it to him. I just want this done really, really well.

Mike usually throws together our work parties which I am NOOOT impressed with. I am glad Afu is Poly and events and performing are not a huge deal to him. I love throwing events. This is stuff I enjoy, just like makeup I'll do it for free AND when someone matters to me and Sharla matters to me.

I guess we can invite Emily Gladfelder and even Brad Sorenson who used to work with us. I need to get a list of all our adjunct teachers from Brian.

Walking was fine but I am exhausted.
