My Random Blogging Therapy
Only the 4th time I've done that Riverwalk lunch time and it went pretty fast. I don't know what I need to do to change this. Maybe I should start jogging but I don't want to get sweaty and gross during the middle of my work day. I just changed my shoes, took off my lightweight shrug and threw my teal hoodie on for my powerwalk.
Jon Huntsman's list of President Hinckley's priorities is on my mind a lot:
Basically it is the following
1. Your eternal companion
2. Your eternal children
3. Your profession and loyalty to your employer
4. Magnifying your church calling
5. Seeking optimal health
I was surprised at #3 and delighted with #5. 1, 2 and 4 I expected to see.
I don't know about the phrasing of #3. I don't think I am expected to really do anything professionally except to be a wise steward over my resources. Work like I should and use my time wisely. Loyalty suggests you need to stay at a position when I don't want that.
